Finsbury Park Mosque and Peace Exchange organised a public event to Remembering
Srebrenica, at Finsbury Park Mosque conference hall, Sunday 17/06/2016, where a
range of speakers from different faiths and communities spoke including
Amelia Handy – Remembering Srebrenica’s Pledges and Events Officer
Barbara Kentish – fieldworker for the Westminster Justice & Peace commission
Rabbi Natan Levy – extensive interfaith work, currently with The Faiths Forum
Miss Fatima Said from Finsbury Park Mosque on how all faiths come
together to remember the innocent lives lost in Srebrenica and to highlight the
continued consequences of hatred and genocide, they all called upon all communities
to reaffirm their commitment to peace and strong community relations here in the UK.
